Cumberland Access and Inclusion Panel – Expressions of Interest Now Open!

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open to join the Cumberland Access & Inclusion Panel. The panel will provide expert advice to Council on the views, needs and interests of people with disability, their families and carers in Cumberland, and assist Council in the implementation and evaluation of Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2017-2021.

Nominations are open to all community representatives, who live, work or study in the Cumberland LGA and who meet at least one of the selection criteria contained in the terms of reference. At least half of the panel will be made up of people who have a direct experience of disability, either personally or through a caring and support role.

Making a Submission

All Panel Expressions of Interest are to be submitted to Council in writing. Submissions can be made in person, over the phone, via email or with the use of an interpreter by arranging an appointment to see Council’s Access and Inclusion Officer.

  1. Complete it online.
  1. Make a submission in person / over the phone: Contact Council’s Access and Inclusion Officer, Tess Newton-Palmer on (02) 9840 9836 to arrange a time to complete your application either in person or over the phone.
  1. Email your submission: Send your Expression of Interest via email to Council’s Access and Inclusion Officer Tess.Newton-Palmer@cumberland.nsw.gov.au.
