Exhibition of draft Mobile Food Vending Vehicles Policy

At Council’s meeting of 2 August 2017, Council resolved to place on public exhibition for 28 days, Cumberland Council’s Draft Mobile Food Vending Vehicles Policy.

The Draft Mobile Food Vending Vehicles Policy applies to the operation of Mobile Food Vending Vehicles to ensure that all food sold is safe and fit for human consumption. All Mobile Food Vending Vehicles will be required to adhere to the requirements of the Roads Act 1993 & Regulations whilst trading within the Cumberland Council local government area, where Council is the appropriate regulatory authority.

Whilst it is intended that the principles in this policy will have general application, there may be cases where the particular circumstances justify a departure from these principles.
