New Granville Multi-Purpose Community Centre

New Granville Multi-Purpose Community Centre

Cumberland Council is developing a new multi-purpose community centre, library, arts and cultural facility in Granville, due for completion in 2019.

The new purpose built community facility will be located at the Granville Memorial Park site where the existing Granville Youth and Community Recreation Centre is located.

The $20 million project is being funded by $10 million from the NSW Government’s Stronger Communities Fund, with an additional $10 million coming from Council.

Council wants to work closely with the community to ensure that the new facility and the programs and services it provides reflect the local community’s needs and priorities.

Council is currently consulting with members of the community to find out what you think about the concept plans for the facility as well as the types of activities, programs and services you would like to see delivered at the site.
