100 Citizen Scientists Needed to Gather Data

The Citizen Science Urban Microclimate Project will gather data to help plan urban and open spaces and predict future health and energy needs.

Register to be a citizen scientist and learn how to capture local weather data. You will perform outdoor microclimatic measurements - temperature, humidity, wind speed - using portable handheld devices that will be provided.

This event is being run In a collaboration between RMIT University and the University of New South Wales. The Citizen Science Project will mobilise a league of enthusiastic citizen scientists to assist Australia’s leading universities and scientific organisations with their research.
