Clubs for Cumberland is a community grants program supporting local projects and services that provide assistance to people in the Cumberland area.

How to prepare your Application

Applications are open to local not-for-profit organisations with an ABN. Organisations without an ABN must be sponsored by an incorporated organisation.

You can attend grant preparation workshops and access resources to help put your application together.

For information on how to apply, download the 2019 Clubs for Cumberland ClubGRANTS Guidelines.

Applications need to be submitted through the SmartyGrants website using the ClubGrants application form.

Helpful Workshops for Preparing Grant Applications

Places are limited in the following sessions and workshops. If sessions are booked out, you can put your name on the waiting list.

Information Sessions

These sessions will explain the funding priorities, how applications will be assessed and conditions for successful applicants. It will also be an opportunity to meet potential project partners.

Preparing a Successful Grant Application Workshop

These free workshops will assist participants to develop and write their grant applications.

The workshops will focus on specific questions in the application form including project description, budget, project outcomes and evaluation.

Limited spaces – Delivered in two parts - Attendance at both sessions is required.

Workshop 1: Focus on the project description, funding priority and project timeline.

Advisory Desk Sessions

Book a session for tailored advice on your project and grant application. Bring your draft application and project ideas and receive feedback and tips on how to write your grant proposal.
