Problem Waste Disposal Service

Residents of Cumberland Council have many options to safely dispose of dangerous household waste. Under the Mobile Community Recycling Service, you can organise for a vehicle to come to your home to take away problem wastes such as televisions, computers, BBQ gas bottles, paint cans, household batteries, car batteries, motor oils, light globes, cooking oils and smoke detectors. The service is free. This service helps to reduce these types of dangerous waste items going into our landfill or alternatively into our wastewater systems.
