About this course

This 9-week course will start with classes delivered online in a video chat and demonstration format using Microsoft teams. Classes will provide an opportunity for participants to get to know each other.

The classes will be online until such time that restrictions are lifted and face-to-face on-site practical classes can begin at Auburn Centre for Community Friendship Garden.

When: 10am, Saturdays from 4 September to 30 October 2021. 

Duration: 60 to 90 minutes

Topics/activities included:

  • propagation
  • organic pest control
  • soil health and others
  • opportunity for questions about problems in your own garden that we will cover together as a class
  • fun activities and worksheets to do in isolation.

During class you won't need your camera on, your TAFE teacher will have their camera on to enable demonstrations.

Further information and support

Participants won't need to download any program to join the online sessions. If you are not confident using Microsoft Teams we can provide you an over the phone tutorial to skill you up before the classes.
