A 2 hour walking adventure, exploring the wonders of Prospect Creek at night.

Join us for 2 hours of adventure as we go spotlighting with Ecologist Tom Covell (Hooked on Nature) and explore the wonders of Prospect Creek at night! Learn about this special wildlife corridor and the nocturnal critters that call this place home. *Please note as per the COVID restrictions enforced by the NSW Government all volunteers over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated to attend unless you have a medical exemption.

This event is made possible with support from Western Sydney Airport and Cumberland City Council.

Location

Please meet at the clubhouse located at Long Street Park, 63 Long Street, Smithfield. Street parking is available.

What to bring

Please make sure you come prepared with the following:

  • Warm clothing
  • Long sleeved shirt/top (no T-shirts)
  • Long pants (no shorts)
  • Sturdy shoes (no thongs, sandals or slippers)
  • Water and snacks
  • Raincoat (if wet)
  • Personal medical equipment (eg. ventolin, epipen, etc.)
  • Proof of vaccine status (for all over 16 years)

All tools and equipment (including torches and high vis vests) will be provided.
