School Holiday Care Program

We have prepared a program filled with exciting activities, theme days and workshops, providing a safe and homelike environment for school-aged children.

Programs, Centre Locations and Dates

The following school holiday programs run from Monday 15 April 2019 to Friday 26 April 2019.

There are 3 centres with 2 programs for 5 to 9 year olds and 1 for 10 to 13 year olds.

All centres are open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Guildford West OOSH – 50 Princes Street, Guildford West

This program is for children aged 5 to 9 years (Single Digits).

This program is for children aged 5 to 9 years (Single Digits).

This program is for children aged 10 to 13 years (Double Digits).

Fee and Booking Information

Fees are charge by the day:
  • The 5 to 9 year old program is $51 per day
  • The 10 to 13 year old program is $56 per day.

Bookings close on Friday 29 March 2019 for the Easter Holidays. A late booking fee of $36 applies after this date per child, per centre.

You need to register and book online via the SmartCentral website.

The SmartCentral website requires you to create an account, in order to login and use the booking system.

Activity Details

3D Canvas Creations

Each child will be given their own canvas along with numerous craft materials to design and create with. During this time your child can explore their creativity, through different textures and methods to make their very own unique art work to take home. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Arrive at the centre by 9am to ensure your child doesn’t miss out.

Featherdale Wildlife Park

During their wildlife excursion, the children will explore the park, watch the keeper presentations and animal feeding. The children will also engage with the educational lessons in the "Learning Burrow" outdoor ampitheatre which are designed according to current primary and high school curriculums. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Arrive at the centre no later than 8:30am. Return no later thann 3pm

Hawkesbury Stadium Sports and Games Centre

The children will form a team and compete against each other head to head in indoor European handball, basketball and indoor soccer in a Fun Day tournament. A great day where the children will learn the fundamentals of teamwork. Children will be divided into teams of 6-12 players with a skill sessions in the morning learning the basics of each sport. 5 games will be played, including 2 games of exciting finals. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Arrive at the centre no later than 8.30am. Return time no later than 3pm.

My Dance Crew

This awesome workshop allows children to experience a huge variety of dance styles, dancing in teams, formations, scattered around the room, on their own and with a friend. All ages and skill levels are supported to move confidently, perform fearlessly and express themselves freely. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Arrive at the centre by 9am to ensure your child doesn’t miss out.

Movies

The children will be travelling to Reading Cinemas at Auburn by bus to watch the latest G or PG movie.Children wishing to take Snacks please pack in a small bag as the candy bar will not be available. No money to be brought in. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Arrive at the centre no later than 8.30am. Return time no later than 3pm.

Bubble Sports

The children will enjoy a Bubble Sports Workshop held at the centre. Bubble Sports Workshops are designed to promote fitness, team work and laughter. Children will get to wear a patented bubble suit while surrounded by an inflatable device that allows them to run, bounce, roll and spin, all while bumping into other bubbles. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Arrive at the centre by 9am to ensure your child doesn’t miss out.

Back to Nature Central Gardens

Visiting our local Central Gardens by bus or short walk, the children will explore what Australia is known best for. During their time the children will connect with nature while learning about the different plants and animals that our beautiful country is well known for. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Please arrive at the centre no later than 9.00am. Return time no later than 3pm.

Scavenger Hunt

A competitive day to be organised at the centre. The children will participate in a fun filled adventure throughout OOSH while they work hard to find clues, solve puzzles and ultimately reach the end of the scavenger hunt first. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Arrive at the centre by 9am to ensure your child doesn’t miss out.

Picnic in Bungarribee Parklands

The aim of the day is to get the children out and about in our local community. The chidlren will be walking over to Jones Park where they will be having a picnic, playing games and enjoying a sausage sizzle organised by the Educators. Please pack a hat, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and water. Arrive at the centre no later than 9am. Return time no later than 3pm.
