Occasional Care

Occasional Care is for parents who need short flexible periods of care for their child. This gives children the chance to interact and play with other children while parents have time to get things done.

The Sometime Centre Merrylands has 30 places for children aged between six weeks and school age. Our programs stimulate all areas of child development. Children can choose from a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

The service employs an additional needs teacher to provide specialist programs, and is the centre of the Early Integration Program.

Fees are charged by the hour, so you only pay for what you use, and you can apply to Centrelink for a reduction in fees. Parents who use this service can access the child care benefit.

Families need to provide food from home.
