School Holiday Program

Council operates four education and care services catering for children in kindergarten to year seven:

  • Parramatta West OOSH (Double Digits) – 57 Auburn Street, Parramatta West
  • Guildford West OOSH – 50 Princes Street, Guildford West
  • Ringrose OOSH – 18-36 Ringrose Avenue, Greystanes
  • Sherwood Grange OOSH – 50 Bruce Street, Merrylands

Single Digits

Single Digits caters for school-aged children between 5 – 9 years, who require care during the school holiday period. The program is based on recreational and interest-based activities. The centres aim to provide children with fun and safe experiences.

Double Digits

Double Digits is for children aged 10 – 13 years, designed with their interests in mind. The aim of Double Digits is to provide a fun and relaxed environment for older children with emphasis on fun, free time, developing independence and problem-solving. Double Digits program assists in the development of life and social skills for young people, providing opportunities to travel on public transport, purchasing tickets etc.

Fees & CCB

The cost of care is $51 per day, per child for Single Digits, and $56 for Double Digits. Bookings close two weeks prior to the start of the holiday period.

A $35 late booking fee will apply for bookings taken after the closing date. Any bookings taken after the school holiday period commences will be charged at the casual rate of $51 for single digits and $56 per day for Double Digits.

Please note: Care is allocated according to the Australian Government’s Priority of Access guidelines. Services will not open unless minimum bookings are received and confirmed. Once booking form is received you will be provided with a fee estimation with payment details, once payment is received and receipt number is provided your booking is complete, there will be no refunds for cancellation of care or absent days.

To receive Child Care Benefit (CCB) you must provide the Customer Reference Number (CRN) for your child and parent registered for CCB with Centrelink. To get help obtaining a CRN phone Family Assistance Office on 136 150. Please see the responsibilities of the parent receiving the CCB.

Should you experience any technical issues with our online School Holiday Program Booking Form - email stating the centre, family name, child’s name and the dates care is required. An email with the fee estimation will be sent back to you.
