Youth Week 2021

Every year in April, Youth Week is celebrated providing young people a platform to share ideas, attend events, have their voices heard and have fun. The Youth Week 2021 theme is 'Together More Than Ever' and will run between 16 to 24 April.

Cumberland City Council and the Youth Week Planning Group are excited to offer two Youth Week events for young people between the ages of 12 to 25 years.

Youth Story Expo - 21 April 2021

Showcasing youth talent on topics including intergenerational relationships, experiences of young people from refugee background and youth with out-of-home care experience.

Youth Week Festival - 22 April 2021

A social event with live performances and fun activities. Youth Community Organisations will promote their employability and job readiness programs.

The events are open to youth of 12 to 25 years of age. Young people under 16 require parent/guardian to sign in on the day of the event.
