Subdivision Certificate Applications

All Subdivision Certificate applications are required to be lodged on the NSW Planning Portal.

Process

Subdivision applications processes can vary and are generally completed within 60 days.

Engage a surveyor

You will need to engage a registered surveyor to prepare a subdivision plan and any associated documents required as set out in your consent.

Application accepted 

You will receive a tax invoice for application fees and an acceptance email from the NSW Planning Portal when your application has been accepted by Council. Your Subdivision Certificate will not be released until Council are satisfied that all conditions of consent have been satisfied and application fees have been paid.

Please quote the SC reference number in all communication with Council.

Subdivision Certificate Issued

Once Council is satisfied that you have complied with all conditions of your consent we will be in a position to sign the documents prepared by your surveyor and issue a Subdivision Certificate.

The documents will be executed electronically by an authorised officer pursuant to Section 388 Local Government Act 1993 and uploaded to the NSW Planning Portal
