Granville Swim Centre Gym is Council's newest premium asset delivering health and leisure services to both the local and wider community.
The facility was opened to existing Eric Tweedale Stadium Gym members on the 8 January 2024 and has since commenced taking foundational memberships for new clients.
We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting Fitness Passport for gym use and entry to our Wellness classes.
Operational hours
Monday to Friday - 5am to 10pm
Saturday and Sunday - 7am to 10pm
Public Holidays - As per Granville Swim Centre operational hours

Payment structure
Cumberland City Council offer a variety of membership options and are payable either upfront or by direct debit billed fortnightly.
- Upfront Membership (No Renewal) A single upfront payment for either one (1) month or twelve (12) months.
- Upfront Membership (Auto-Renew) Membership will continue to renew at the specified interval (one (1) month or twelve (12) months) until the member opts out.
- Direct Debit (Fortnightly) Indefinite membership with fortnightly payments that are aligned to and updated with Councils annual fees and charges.

Wellness Class Description
Bootcamp
Group fitness class the promotes fat loss, muscle growth, cardiovascular health, camaraderie and team effort. Designed to push people a little bit more than they would normally push themselves alone in the gym. Combination of Body weight and weighted exercises mixed up with various cardio exercises – running, bike, ski/row erg. Some classes may also include Boxing.
Cross Training
Constantly varied, medium to high intensity workouts. A wonderful way to vary your fitness program by combining several types of exercise activities. All workouts/exercises/loads are scalable to match your fitness levels and are designed to drastically affect your bodies aerobic, anaerobic, and Phosphagen energy systems resulting is significant adaptation and change to fitness levels and physical appearance.
Pilates
Great for balance, posture, and strength, ideal for all fitness levels regardless of age.
Stretch and Mobility
Classes focused on improving flexibility and range of motion for Seniors.
Zumba (Seniors)
Fun social classes, working out to upbeat Latin-inspired music for a good cardio session.
Aqua Aerobics
Low impact aqua classes to reduce stress on joints, but still have enough impact to be beneficial and help increase bone density.
Women’s Body Conditioning
Women’s only class designed to target the whole body. Trained Instructors will take you through a Low – Medium intensity workout and push you to get the most out of your fitness potential.
Women’s BALT
Women's only class which targets Booty, Abs, Legs and Thighs (BALT). Instructors will guide you in specific exercises to target those areas and push you to get the best fitness results possible.

Zumba (Seniors)
Fun social classes, working out to upbeat Latin-inspired music for a good cardio session.
Aqua Aerobics
Low impact aqua classes to reduce stress on joints, but still have enough impact to be beneficial and help increase bone density.
Senior Circuit
Low impact, social class guiding by a qualified instructor. Not only a strength class but also great class for learning exercises and how to use the gym equipment.
Pilates
Great for balance, posture, and strength, ideal for all fitness levels regardless of age. This class on open to all ages and can be tailored to your specific needs and abilities.
