Community Wellbeing Report

The ‘Cumberland Community Wellbeing Report 2021’ outlines our key priorities to improve health and wellbeing outcomes to enable residents to live rewarding, healthy and socially connected lives.

This was adopted by Council at its meeting of 2 June 2021.

We're experiencing strong population growth. Whilst this growth is a positive influence on our community, it also presents multiple challenges such as the increased demand for the provision of services and social and physical infrastructure, amongst others. These challenges, if not addressed in a timely manner, can affect the liveability and overall wellbeing of the Cumberland community.

This report has been prepared to identify the strengths, opportunities and needs of our growing community, and to help inform planning and prioritisation of infrastructure, services and programs. It will be used to collaborate with our community and relevant stakeholders on issues of importance and to advocate for the appropriate and timely provision of infrastructure and services.

The Community Wellbeing Report is aligned to our strategic documents including Cumberland 2030: Our Local Strategic Planning Statement and the Cumberland Community Strategic Plan.
