Council is rolling out a Youth Hub at Merrylands Library held on the first and third Thursday of the month from 2pm to 5:30pm, starting on Thursday 16 May.
The hub is a one stop shop that will offer a range of health, employment counselling, housing and education services for youth aged 12 to 25 years-old.
Services includes:
- Employment support: Work experience, careers advice, resume assistance and more.
- Counselling and family mediation services.
- Centrelink assistance.
- Housing support
- Resources and assistance for obtaining your learner's permit.
- Courses and further learning advice
- English language skills
- Digital literacy
- Pathways to employment programs
- Self-employment options for people interested in starting a business.
