During an inspection of any public tree, council will consider all factors relevant to the tree and site, including a range of alternative options, such as (but not limited to) remediation pruning, installation of physical supports and/or restricted access measures.
Each option is evaluated in terms of its effectiveness, feasibility, and long-term prospects of the tree.
However, in some cases, no suitable options are found to be sufficient in mitigating the identified risk to public safety and removal is the only appropriate recommendation.
Following a comprehensive tree assessment, Council has recommended the removal of the below trees:
