Regents Park Library will be temporarily closed for essential upgrade works from Monday 3 August 2026 to Sunday 16 August 2026. The library will reopen to the public on Monday 17 August 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Library Advisory Committee

Provides a forum for discussion on Library matters and makes recommendations to Council.

Committee objectives

The Library Advisory Committee is an advisory body to Cumberland City Council. The purpose of the Committee is to provide:

  • Feedback to Council on Library policies, services, collections and programs.
  • Implementation and evaluation of the Library Strategy.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
