Community Services and Development

National Careers Institute Partnership Grants Program - Round 3 – Career Opportunities and Pathways for Women

Amount: Between $20,000 to $350,000

This program provides grants up to $350,000 to deliver innovative career guidance services for people at all stages of their careers.

Community Emergency Quick Response Grants

Amount: Up to $10,000
Eligibility: Not-for profit community organisations and unincorporated community groups.

This grant supports small-scale projects for local residents and organisations which build the capacity of the communities to respond to the current impacts of Covid-19.

Damien Greer Lawyers 2021 Community Grants

Amount: Up to $2,500
Eligibility: Individuals and community organisations.

Budget Direct Sponsorships 2020-2021

Eligibility: Not-for-profit organisations and sports clubs

Budget Direct sponsorship is available to help groups including registered organisations, small community groups, not-for-profits, and government bodies throughout Australia, in their efforts to build happy and healthy neighbourhoods.

Indigenous Local Employment Fund

The Fund will support innovative, short-term initiatives that address local employment needs and barriers for Indigenous job seekers that are outside the scope of existing employment programs.

CALD COVID-19 Health Small Grants

Grants to assist multicultural community groups to lead communication activities around COVID-19 and the vaccination rollout.

Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grants

Infrastructure

Infrastructure Grants

Amount: Between $10,000 to $300,000
Eligibility: Not-for-profit organisations, schools and local councils

This grant supports the building, renovation and fit-out of infrastructure. Funding is available for sport and recreation and arts and cultural infrastructure as well as projects that assist communities with essential infrastructure and disaster readiness.

Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program: Major Capital Fund EOI

Amount: Between $10,000 to $300,000
Eligibility: Not-for-profit associations and Local Government
Closing: 4 March 2022
The Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program improves access to preschool by creating additional community preschool places in areas of need and demand across the state. The Major Capital fund creates additional community preschool places through new builds, extensions and renovations of centre-based community preschools in areas of need and demand.

Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program: Crisis Fund

The Crisis Fund is part of the Start Strong Capital Works Grant Program commitment to increase the number of community preschool places in NSW in areas of need and demand. The Crisis Fund supports the maintenance and/or creation of community preschool places where there is an immediate and/or urgent need for capital works.

Creative Capital Fund

Amount: Minor Works/Equipment Projects – $5,000 to $250,000, Medium to Large Projects – $250,000 to $5,000,000

The fund will support the delivery of new and improved cultural infrastructure across NSW. The Creative Capital fund has been established to meet the demands for facilities to support the creative economy and improve access to and participation in quality cultural experience.

Facility Loan Scheme

NSW Performing Arts Covid Support Package

Amount: Up to $5,000

The aim of this package is to provide urgent financial support to performing arts venues, producers, and promoters impacted by the cancellation or postponement of performances resulting from the NSW Government COVID-19 Public Health Orders from 26th June 2021.

Festival Travel supports NSW writers, directors or producers whose projects have been officially invited to screen at significant international festivals outside Australia. This program supports international travel costs including flights, accommodation and transfers.

Environment and Sustainability

Small Environmental Grant Scheme

Eligibility: Not-profit organisations, community group, and individuals

Providing support for people undertaking projects that will make a positive difference to the natural living environment, in land, sea or air, rural or urban. The program aims to support projects about flora and fauna conservation around Australia. Projects should involve any of the following: monitoring, recording and sharing data, delivering community education, providing community capacity building, research and science.

Business

Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate

Amount: Up to $1,500
Eligibility: Businesses and not-for-profit organisations

This rebate helps businesses recover from the impact of COVID-19 and funds can be use to offset the cost of eligible NSW and local government fees and charges. These include food authority licences, liquor licences, tradesperson licences, event fees and council rates.

Financial assistance to help workers unable to earn income due to a COVID-19 lockdown, hotspot or period of restricted movement.

Sports

Local Sport Grants Program

Amount: Up to $20,000
Eligibility: Incorporated, not-for-profit grassroots sport clubs, licenced sporting clubs, sport clubs associated with a school, church and university.

The Local Sport Grants Program aims to increase regular and on-going participation opportunities in sport and active recreation in NSW.

Active Kids Rebate

The Program helps NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sport and active fitness and recreation activities.

Grassroots Sports Fund

Eligibility: Clubs, associations and organisations

The Fund is part of the NSW Government’s Community Sport Recovery Package to support the sector to get back on its feet and provides one-off grants of up to $1,000 to eligible local clubs and associations across the state to assist them with community sport.
