Competition Winners Announced!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Christmas Lights Competition.

Entries have now closed as of 5pm, Sunday 4 January 2026.

Winner Announcement

This year’s winning homes were: 

  • Wentworthville Ward: David of Merrylands 
  • South Granville Ward: Edmond of Granville 
  • Granville Ward: Rafael of Granville 
  • Regents Park Ward: Rajendra of Auburn 
  • Greystanes Ward: Samantha of Woodpark 

The Winning Voter Prize went to MaryAnn from Guildford. 

Congratulations to all entrants and voters for helping Christmas lights sparkle across Cumberland once again.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
