Cumberland City Council is excited to launch a new lighting competition that invites residents to decorate their homes in dazzling displays that showcase the spirit of the festive season while celebrating our community’s rich diverse culture.
Public voting has now closed.
Key Dates
- Nominations open Monday 1 December 2025 and close on Sunday 4 January 2026.
- Panel will meet Wednesday 7 January and Thursday 8 January 2026 for finalists.
- Voting will take place on Council’s website from Friday 9 January 2026.
Prizes
- Winners will be announced on Council’s website and social platforms.
- The most festive house in each of our city’s five wards with a Winner, Runner Up and Highly Commended.
- One Winner in each ward will receive a $500 gift card, one Runner Up in each ward will receive a $200 gift card and one Highly Commended in each ward will receive a $100 gift card.
