Pool maintenance closure - Please be advised that the 25-metre pool at Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre will be closed for scheduled maintenance from 2:30pm on Sunday 16 August until Monday 31 August 2026. During this time, all programs and classes will continue as scheduled.

#WithSTEMYouCan demonstrates how STEM can provide a career that evolves with you and our world. It highlights the transferability of STEM skills, diversity of STEM career paths and how STEM can be for everyone.

Join us, spread the word, and help spark a new wave of innovators, problem solvers, and creatives by:

  • Checking out the  #WithSTEMYouCan webpage, for helpful videos, resources, articles and links.
  • Following CSIRO socials and sharing any inspiring STEM stories using #WithSTEMYouCan.
  • Reading the STEM Conversation Toolkit, a free, practical guide for parents and caregivers to help spark everyday STEM conversations.

#WithSTEMYouCan is proudly delivered by Generation STEM, managed by CSIRO, the program is made possible by the NSW Government’s $25 million endowment to the Science and Industry Endowment Fund (SIEF).

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
