Home library services are suspended, but our library staff will keep in contact with all of our home library customers.

Who is the service for?

The Home Library Service is for residents living in Cumberland City and care facilities such nursing homes, retirement villages, aged care centres, senior citizen's clubs and other such facilities in the area.

How do I join?

The Home Library Officer can organise the selection and delivery of library items to you every three weeks. To be part of this service and have library items delivered to your home or facility, phone the Home Library officer at Auburn Library on 02 8757 9060 or 02 8754 9434. You will also need to complete an application form.

What can I borrow?

Items available for borrowing include:

  • large print books
  • normal fiction and non-fiction books
  • audio books
  • CDs
  • magazines
  • DVDs

Bulk loans are also available to nursing homes, retirement villages, aged care centres, senior citizens’ clubs, and other such facilities in the Cumberland City area.
