If you are a Cumberland resident unable to visit the library in person, due to age, illness or disability, our free service delivers to and collects from your home any resources you borrow from us.

Who is the service for?

The Home Library Service is available to and free for anyone living in Cumberland City who is unable to visit the library in person, due to age, illness or disability.

We deliver to your home, whether you live in your own home or a shared accomodation.

What can I borrow?

Items available for borrowing include:

  • large print books
  • fiction and non-fiction books
  • audio books
  • CDs
  • magazines
  • DVDs

Bulk loans are also available to nursing homes, retirement villages, aged care centres, senior citizens’ clubs, and other such facilities in the Cumberland City area.

How do I join?

To join this free service, phone the Home Library Officer at Auburn Library on 8757 9060.
