Pool maintenance closure - Please be advised that the 50-metre pool at Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre will be closed for scheduled maintenance from Monday 31 August until Monday 23 November 2026. During this time, all programs and classes will continue as scheduled.

Water Safety Storytime

Join us for a special Storytime focusing on Water Safety in our pools, rivers and beaches with special guest presenters Royal Life Saving Society NSW.

Join us for a special Water Safety Storytime presented by the Royal Life Saving Society NSW. 

This fun and interactive session will introduce children and families to important water safety skills for staying safe around pools, rivers, beaches and other waterways. 

Through engaging stories, songs and activities, children will learn valuable lessons about recognising water hazards, making safe choices and knowing what to do in an emergency. 

Suitable for young children and their families.

All sessions start at 11am.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
