Merrylands Community Garden MCG

A shared community garden, developed as a space for healthy, fun outdoor activities.

Participation in the garden

The Merrylands Community Garden (also known as our own MCG), encourages people to grow and share local food, make new friends, share skills all whilst improving community health and wellbeing.

Community Garden Handbook

The Community Garden Handbook provides the framework for Cumberland City Council to support the development and management of the MCG.

This handbook outlines how the community can become involved in the Community Garden, how the garden operates and the roles of responsibilities of those involved in the management and care of the garden.

Hire a space in the garden

Community groups are welcome to express interest in hiring a space or to run new programs in the garden.
