Stay safe in the water this Summer

Council and Royal Life Saving NSW have a number of resources available to help educate the community on the importance of water safety, including water safety messages in community languages. You can also help by completing the drowning prevention plan survey.

Drowning Prevention Plan Survey

Royal Life Saving NSW are developing a Western Sydney Drowning Prevention Plan that helps our whole community to better manage the risk associated with using the water in our region. Sadly, Western Sydney is the number one drowning blackspot in NSW with 8 of the top 12 LGA in the region.

To help us develop a robust strategy we want to better understand the level of knowledge about water safety in our community and hear your ideas on how we can better support the community to stay safe.

Please help us by completing this anonymous survey

Water Safety Messages in Community Languages

Royal Life Saving's continued commitment to diversity plays a important and vital role in improving opportunities for all Australians to receive fundamental swimming and water safety messages and education.
