The 25-metre pool at Granville Swim Centre will be temporarily closed for maintenance from Monday 13 July to Friday 17 July 2026, and will reopen on Saturday 18 July 2026. All other areas of the centre will remain open for our members and visitors to enjoy.

Council has established Advisory Committees to act as advisory bodies to Council. This provides a consultative forum for the community to engage with and provide advice to Council, as well as inform Council’s policy, program and service delivery.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
