The Site-Specific Development Control Plan (DCP) applying to 245-247 Great Western Highway, South Wentworthville that amends existing Part F1 – Precinct and Site-Specific Controls of the Cumberland Development Control Plan (DCP) 2021 has now become effective when the corresponding LEP amendment (Cumberland LEP 2021- Amendment No. 5) for the site was notified on 17 May 2024.
The amendment to the Cumberland DCP 2021 is now made available on Cumberland City Council’s website for public viewing.
Cumberland Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
