The Wentworthville Community Garden was established to create a space for community members and groups to come together to garden and to participate in other activities that encourage harmony, cooperation and a sense of belonging.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
