Organisation Structure

Council is made up of five Directorates plus the Office of the General Manager who is responsible for facilitating Cumberland’s services, activities, and resources.

Cumberland City Council is made up of 5 directorates:

  • City Services
  • Community and Culture
  • Corporate Performance
  • Environment and Planning
  • Governance and Risk

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
