Cumberland 2030: Our Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) has been formally published by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on the NSW planning portal.
The LSPS was endorsed by Council at its meeting on 20 November 2019 and received a formal letter of endorsement from the former Greater Sydney Commission (now dissolved into the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure) in March 2020.
Cumberland 2030: Our Local Strategic Planning Statement provides strategic direction and a coordinated approach to effectively manage growth and development in the Cumberland area. It sets a land use vision and structure plan and identifies priorities and actions to support the vision.
The LSPS was prepared in close collaboration with the former Greater Sydney Commission through their assurance program to ensure it, and other strategic work, is aligned with the Central City District Plan.
