Brief service description

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia offers young people aged 7-17 the opportunity for long-term, one-to-one mentoring. Youth are matched with trained, screened volunteer mentors in a safe environment that fosters self-confidence, resilience, friendship, and meaningful connections. Mentors commit 1 to 2 hours weekly for a minimum of 12 months, with full support provided to both mentor and mentee. Through these positive relationships, young people are empowered to grow, develop, and achieve their goals.
