Celebrate Book Week in Cumberland!
Cumberland City Council is celebrating Book week across all Cumberland Libraries with a variety of activities and programs for all ages!
Parents must remain on the premises while sessions are in progress.
Special Book Week Storytimes
Come dressed as your favourite book character and join us for a special Book Week Storytime filled with stories, songs and costume fun. Children are encouraged to bring along the book that matches their costume to share with their Storytime friends.
After the session, children can enjoy a special walk around the library to show off their costumes and favourite books.
Free, no bookings required.

Primary School Storytime & Book Parade – Auburn Library
Primary school aged children are invited to a special after-school Book Week Storytime at Auburn Library. Dress up as your favourite book character and enjoy story readings before joining a fun library book parade to showcase costumes throughout the library.
This special event celebrates books, imagination and the joy of reading.

Book Week Competition
Visit any Cumberland City Library during Book Week to take part in our special competitions. Enter these Book Week themed competitions for your chance to win exciting prizes. Competition forms and questions will be available at all library locations.

Competition open on the Monday 3 August and close on Friday 28 August.
