Origami Workshops

Discover the art of paper folding with hands-on origami workshops running daily from 9:00am – 4:30pm. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, these interactive sessions offer a fun and creative way to explore a cherished Japanese tradition. Learn a range of popular Japanese creations such as cranes, lotus flowers, lilies, hearts, jumping frogs and more. Participants are guided step-by-step and can take their creations home offering a calming, creative activity that’s perfect for families, friends, and anyone wanting a mindful break during the festival.

Japanese fan making workshop

Fan Making Workshop

Join us on Thursday 27 August 2026, from 10:00am – 3:00pm, for a special fan-making workshop. Create and personalise your own traditional-inspired fan.

Drop in throughout the day and take home a handmade keepsake inspired by Japanese artistry.

Activities are drop-in and have capacity limits.
