The Cumberland Community Wellbeing Survey is now open. Help shape the future of our local neighbourhoods.

Neighbourhood liveability means different things to different people – whether it's more shops and green spaces, less or more parking, or a focus on improving public safety. We believe that everyone’s unique voice should be heard to ensure Council planning responds to our residents specific values and priorities.

Cumberland City Council has commissioned our third Community Wellbeing Survey by social research organisation, Place Score. Conducted first in 2022, this LGA wide survey provides a unique opportunity for our community to share what is most important to you in your ideal neighbourhood and to rate the liveability of your current neighbourhood.

Less than 15 minutes of your time has the potential to impact 100s of decisions across Council.

The 2026 Cumberland Community Wellbeing Survey collects place-based, social research insights that can be used by all departments across Council and for multiple projects. Your inputs will help shape the future of planning and investment decisions and provide Council with important metrics to measure change. We encourage you to participate and share the survey with your friends and colleagues.

As a small thank you, all participants will also have the chance to win one of five $100 vouchers! (T&Cs apply)

The Cumberland Community Wellbeing Survey closes at 11:59pm on 17 May 2026.
