The 2026 Census will take place on Tuesday, 11 August 2026. The information collected helps shape important local services and facilities for our community.
The Census is compulsory under the Census and Statistics Act 1905. Everyone in Australia on Census night, Tuesday 11 August 2026, must be included on the Census form.
If you need any additional information or assistance in filling in the Census form, the following session will help you as the Census staff will guide you step-by-step through the Census form, explain how your personal information is kept safe and private, and answer any questions you may have.
