Pool maintenance closure - Please be advised that the 25-metre pool at Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre will be closed for scheduled maintenance from 2:30pm on Sunday 16 August until Monday 31 August 2026. During this time, all programs and classes will continue as scheduled.

Seniors AED and CPR Awareness Information Session

Cumberland City Council, in partnership with Royal Life Saving NSW, is hosting a free Community Pulse workshop.

Through this free interactive session, you will learn to perform CPR, use an AED, follow the DRSABCD action plan, and confidently contact '000' during an emergency.

Light refreshments will be provided

Session 1 Details:

  • When: Thursday 20 August 2026 from 10am to 12pm
  • Where: Auburn Town Hall 1 Susan Street Auburn

Session 2 Details:

  • When: Thursday 20 August 2026 from 1pm to 3pm
  • Where: Allan G Ezzy 1 Newport Street Pemulwuy

Terms and Conditions

  • Event available to residents aged 65yrs or over (50yrs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and their carers living within the Cumberland City LGA only.
  • If you have flu like symptoms, please do not attend.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have any required support to take part in this event. If assistance is needed, please attend with an appropriate support person.
  • Bookings open 3rd August 2026 and close 14th August 2026 or once booked out.
  • Bookings are essential, book online by visiting this website or by phoning the Seniors and Disability Team on 8757 9041.
  • If you do not attend, this may impact your ability to book future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
