Event details

8 April 2026 at 10am - This free interactive workshop invites young people to explore creativity as a powerful tool for confidence, resilience and future pathways.

Led by award-winning creative entrepreneur Tara Shelton, founder of Dream & Do, this session combines hands-on making with real-world storytelling to show how starting small, experimenting and using what you already have can build belief in yourself over time.

Participants will:

  • Hear Tara’s story of creative confidence and resilience
  • Learn how she grew a small idea into a thriving creative business
  • Take part in a guided creative activity - build their own terrarium (valued at $85)
  • Learn how creativity supports resilience, problem-solving and wellbeing
  • Explore creative entrepreneurship as a future career pathway
  • Ask Tara honest questions about ideas, confidence and the future in a safe space

No creative or business experience is needed. This workshop is about curiosity, participation and trying something new.
