Participants must be unemployed, Australian residents, aged 18 years or over, and eligible to study in Australia.

Event details

Starts 21 July 2025 - The training will provide you with an awareness of the Ceramics industry, learning how to work with clay.

The opportunity to learn how to build by hand practical objects such as cups, bowls, plates, planters, and heart boxes You will also learn how to glaze and decorate your artwork.

This class is held every Monday for 10 consecutive weeks.

Requirements

Participants must be unemployed, Australian residents, aged 18 years or over, and eligible to study in Australia.

Ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes and bring along a water bottle.

A Unique Student Identification (USI) is required to participate in this class. Please visit https://www.usi.gov.au/

The class is delivered by TAFE NSW and supported by Cumberland City Council. You will be contacted by both parties to confirm your spot and registration. This class is a Fully Government subsidised student training program CSO5555-V03.

Bookings

Booking is esstential. Now taking face to Face registrations at Auburn Centre for Community, Berala Community Centre, and Guildford Community Centre, 9am to 4pm until spots filled. Spots are limited.
