Civic Park Improvement Project

The park is undergoing a major revamp which will include a new nature play space, outdoor fitness facilities, picnic areas, half-court basketball court, carpark, upgrades to pathways and lighting and also improvements to the Pendle Creek Wetlands.

The works to the Pendle Creek wetlands are also on track with the gabion walls, island planting, bridges, trash rack and two gross pollutant traps completed.

The final stages of the project include the renewal of carparks off Civic Avenue and Parkland Avenue, and landscaping works.

The project, valued at $16 million, has been jointly funded by Cumberland Council and the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
