Merrylands Library will host a special community forensics event on Thursday 13 August, featuring officers from the NSW Police Forensics Squad.
A deep dive into crime scene procedures, evidence collection, fingerprinting, DNA and digital forensics, forensic technology, and how real investigations differ from TV portrayals.
Visitors can explore an interactive forensics stall showcasing fingerprinting tools, specialist lighting, cameras, shoe lift equipment and other investigative technology.
The event offers a rare behind the scenes look at how forensic specialists help solve crimes and keep communities safe.
