28 September 2026 - Seniors and Disability Services are offering a free Tai Chi session for Moon Festival.

Tai chi is a gentle mind-body exercise combining slow, graceful movements with deep breathing. It improves balance, builds lower-body strength, reduces stress, eases joint pain from arthritis, and lowers the risk of falls in older adults.

Light refreshments, including Moon Cakes provided.

Bookings open 16 September 2026 and close 25 September 2026 or once booked out.

  • For residents aged 65yrs or over (50yrs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and People with disability aged 18yrs or over and their carers living within the Cumberland City LGA. 
  • If you have Flu-like symptoms, please do not attend. 
  •  If you do not attend, this may impact your ability to book future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
