Learn more about hepatitis at a free information session presented in Mandarin.
The Seniors and Disability Services team at Cumberland City Council are hosting a free Hepatitis Information Session covering key topics including the different types of hepatitis, causes, symptoms, prevention and treatment options.
The session will be presented in Mandarin by a guest speaker from the Multicultural HIV and Hepatitis Service.

Event Details:
- The event is available to Mandarin/Chinese-speaking residents aged 65 years or over (50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents) and people with disability aged 18 years or over and their carers living within Cumberland City LGA.
- If you have flu-like symptoms, please do not attend.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they have any required support to participate in this event. If assistance is needed, please attend with an appropriate support person.
- Bookings open 17 August 2026 and close 28 August 2026 or once the event reaches capacity.
- Bookings are essential and can be made online via Eventbrite or by contacting the Seniors and Disability Team on 8757 9041.
- Failure to attend may impact future bookings for Council Seniors & Disability programs.
