12 August 2026 - Dementia can affect anyone of any age however; it is most common among people aged 65 years and older.
The Seniors and Disability Services team at Cumberland City Council are hosting a free information session on the topic featuring guest speaker Cynthia Lam from Facing Dementia Together.
The program will be presented in Mandarin.

Terms and conditions:
- Event available to residents aged 65 years or over (50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents), and people with disability aged 18 years or over and their carers living in the Cumberland City Council LGA.
- If you have flu like symptoms, please do not attend.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they have any required support to take part in this event. If assistance is needed, please attend with an appropriate support person.
- Bookings open 22 July 2026 and close 7 August 2026 or once booked out.
- If you do not attend, this may impact your ability to book future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
