Notification of Road Renaming

Notice is hereby given that Cumberland City Council, pursuant to Section 162 of the Roads Act 1993, has re-named 2 separate sections of Margaret Street, Merrylands located south of the M4 Motorway to Donaldson Close and Bolger Close.

The two new road names have been approved by the Geographical Names Board and has been gazetted in the NSW Government Gazette for 16 October 2020.

  • Donaldson Close extends east off Rita Street for approximately 30 metres before terminating in a cul-de-sac.
  • Bolger Close extends east off Chester Street for approximately 50 metres before termination in a cul-de-sac.

The renaming of the two separate sections of Margaret Street to Bolger Close and Donaldson Close follows Council's resolution at its Ordinary meeting of 4 March 2020.
