Discover opening hours, fees, parking and how we’re keeping your pools clean and maintained.

Free entry on Australia Day - 26 January 2026

Celebrate Australia Day with free entry across all swim centres operated by Cumberland City Council:

  • Granville Swim Centre 
  • Merrylands Swim Centre 
  • Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre 

Centres will be open from 7am to 7pm. Please note that our Centre capacity limits remain in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Once capacity is reached, a one-out, one-in policy will operate.

Guildford Swim Centre is currently closed and is undergoing an exciting transformation to deliver a new state-of-the-art Aquatic Centre.

Merrylands offers 3 pools including a 50 metre competition pool, swimming lessons and free parking.

Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre

Wentworthville offers 2 pools, a 50 metre competition pool and a 25m pool with beach and ramp entry, as well as a splash pad, swimming lessons, aqua aerobics and free parking.

Cumberland City Council has partnered with Royal Life Saving NSW to deliver the Keep Watch at Public Pools program, informing visitors to our swim centres about the appropriate levels of child supervision and water safety information.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
