Pip Fioretti is an acclaimed Australian novelist whose work combines vivid historical settings, richly drawn characters and gripping mystery. After publishing three successful contemporary novels, she moved into historical crime fiction with Bone Lands, introducing readers to mounted trooper Gus Hawkins in early 20th century New South Wales.
Her latest novel, Skull River, continues the series, earning praise for its atmospheric storytelling, sharp insight into Australian history and memorable characters. Pip lives in Sydney, where she enjoys reading, bushwalking, art and time with family and friends.
