Refugee Advice and Casework Service

Refugee Advice & Casework Service is a nonprofit providing the one form of help that can give refugees and people seeking asylum lasting safety: legal support. 

It provides trauma-informed legal help to people of all nationalities, religions and gender identities, advocating for fairer and more humane asylum policies. 

If you are seeking legal advice or need to contact RACS on behalf of someone who is seeking legal advice.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders both past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
