Event details
Starts 15 August - Join the Collaborative Field workshops and explore rhythm, movement and collective creativity through music, dance and visual art.
The workshops are led by our current Artist in Residence, Deepa CP, and will involve community-created artworks and storytelling inspired by South Indian Kolam Patterns, dot painting and clay-based art-forms. Participants will collaborate on a group artwork and shared storytelling which celebrates the diverse creative voices of our community.
The program activates The Granville Centre as a vibrant hub for cultural participation, collaboration, and creative exchange.
The Collaborative Field workshops are drop-in events so bookings are not required. However, due to limited space, a maximum of 10 participants can perform at one time. Participants are welcome to watch and enjoy the atmosphere while waiting for their turn.
