Event details

Join author Pip Fioretti at Merrylands Library on Monday 5 May at 11am, as she presents the “Skull River”, a sequel to her first crime novel, the "Bone Lands".

Following the success of “Bone Lands”, Pip Fioretti is back with another gritty Australian noir, featuring a meticulously researched historical setting, dark humour and a uniquely engaging narrator, indomitable Gus Hawkins, the Mounted Trooper. Set in a goldmining town based on Sofala, near Bathurst, “Skull River” is a captivating whodunnit filled with intense action and rich historical details.

With black humour, Fioretti weaves a story that's both a cracking murder mystery and a razor-sharp portrayal of a country on the verge of transformation.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and purchase a personally signed copy of the “Skull River”.
