Create Cumberland: Our Community Strategic Plan
Council is holding six interactive sessions to get feedback from the community about the Community Strategic Plan (CSP). At each location, the first 50 attendees who complete a survey will receive a FREE ACAI BOWL! These sessions will allow you to share your thoughts and get involved in the fun activities.

- Redgum Function Centre: Tuesday 8 October, 11am to 2pm
- Allan G Ezzy Function Centre: Monday 14 October, 11am to 2pm

Carers Week
To celebrate Carers Week, Council is hosting a night of dinner and dancing on Friday 18 October.
Carers will be able to attend a community information session as well as dance their way through the night at Guildford Community Centre. Dinner will be provided.

National Biodiversity Month
Get involved in National Biodiversity Month!
Council is showcasing our biodiversity programs and initiatives and encouraging residents to sign up to our programs including the Verge Gardens Program, Native Bee Program, Native Bird Program (Cumberland Bird Club) and our Native Plant Giveaway.

Native Plant Giveaway
Council is giving away over 1,000 native flowering plants to residents of Cumberland City to help add greenery to homes, more shade, habitats for our wildlife, more privacy and cleaner air. Register and collect up to two free plants per household, while stocks last! Terms and conditions apply.
Collection day: Sunday 13 October, 9am to 3pm

Your Rates at Work
Playground Upgrades
Council has completed works to Colquhoun Park in South Granville where the space underwent a full playground upgrade. As part of the project, a new sheltered BBQ area, renewed play equipment with a softfall surface and additional seating were installed.
